Hi all! I am new to todoist and am setting up for my family (children to have simple daily checklists) I've set up a recurring daily checklist, and love that I have the option to have tasks repeat from the day they were completed. Is there an easy way to do this or will I have to physically go in and delete these tasks that appear as overdue each morning? Thanks for any help/advice! If I have a certain project that is basically a simple daily checklist of routine items (brush teeth, make bed, do homework, etc.) and I have all of the tasks in this project set to repeat daily (from when the items were last checked off), is it possible to make these tasks not appear as overdue items if they were not completed or checked off the day before? As a parent of kids with ADD and dyslexia, it is important to keep it very simple visually. Because there are times where we are sick or on vacation when tasks are going to be ignored and this keeps them from piling with hundreds of overdue tasks. But thats how I declutter todoist and keep feeling accomplished and ‘done’ at the end of each day.Hi all! I don’t know if that resonates with you, I may be designing things for how my mind works and its not applicable for you. Whereas ticking it off in Todoist, you never feel fully ‘done’ Look I keep to do vs habit buckets separate, or habits become noise in a todo list and make it look more overwhelming.Īt the end of each day, I might review my todoist and then hop into ‘Habit’ and rapid fire tick those habits/goals off.

Or an appointment… if its an appointment then maybe calendar? Or if youre using todoist to integrate with calendar then ok, rowing can be todoist We dont set todoist tasks for every life habit we have, make the bed, eat breakfast, brush teeth, shower… cleaning the litter is a daily habit…. It tracks how often you hit your daily or weekly goal, whatever it is

You can set up a widget on your home screen for it. Whereas daily habits and goals like this…. I see Todoist as more useful for projects, ad hoc tasks and ‘things’
